The mission of the City of Taylor Office of Emergency Management is to provide the means for citizens to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from and mitigate disasters that would affect lives and property. Taylor OEM uses the CAPCOG regional notification system to notify residents about specific emergencies that would affect its residents.
Cell phone users must register at WarnCentralTexas.org to receive the notification system’s messages by phone, email and text.

Emergency updates will be posted on the city’s website at www.taylortx.gov as situations warrant.
