Cell phone users must register at WarnCentralTexas.org to receive the notification system’s messages by phone, email and text. For the most up-to-date information about City of San Marcos operations, monitor City social media on Twitter, @CityofSanMarcos, or Facebook, www.facebook.com/CityofSanMarcos. Additionally, updates will be posted on the City’s website at SanMarcosTX.gov. City disaster recovery information will be posted online and will also be available on the City municipal television station (Spectrum Channel 10 and Grande Channel 123-16). Residents needing emergency assistance should call 911 and not post requests or send messages to County social media accounts.
