Round Rock

The City of Round Rock is located in central Texas and has an estimated population of 108,000 as of August 2017. The city is in both Williamson and Travis counties and is the largest city within Williamson County.
The Round Rock Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) is committed to serving the community before, during and after a major emergency or disaster through effective coordination of city departments, partnering agencies and organizations and encouraging community preparedness. Round Rock uses the CAPCOG Regional Notification System (Code Red) to notify residents about specific emergencies. Cell phone users must register their phones at WarnCentralTexas.org to receive emergency messages by phone, email and/or text. Round Rock will post emergency information on the city’s website, https://www.roundrocktexas.gov/, and social media outlets, on Twitter @RoundRock and on Facebook at  https://www.facebook.com/roundrock/. Round Rock does not monitor social media posts. Residents who need emergency assistance should call 911 and should not post requests to County social media accounts
